Rev. Dr. Binu B. Peniel is a dedicated pastor, author, and pastoral counselor whose ministry invites deeper engagement with Scripture and spiritual growth. Through pastoral leadership, preaching, teaching, and written resources, he equips and encourages believers to live Christ-centered lives. His work blends thoughtful theological reflection with compassionate care, inspiring and empowering individuals in faith and service. An ordained elder in the United Methodist Church, Binu comes from an ancient Christian community in India known as the Thomas (St. Thomas) Christians of Kerala. He began his academic journey in commerce before pursuing advanced studies in theology and clinical pastoral counseling. He earned

his Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio.

Binu began his pastoral ministry in India, where he planted churches, led evangelistic outreach, and trained native missionaries. His ministry later expanded across India, the Middle East, the Bahamas, and the United States. He brings eight years of faithful pastoral ministry with the IGRC of the UMC, marked by a deep commitment to preaching, teaching, and shepherding congregations with compassion and purpose. Over the years, he has developed core strengths in positivity, connectedness, activation, input, and strategic thinking. Since 2013, the United States has been a second home for Binu and his family. Beyond pastoral ministry, publishing, and academic research, he enjoys spending time with his family—his wife, Mebin, and their children, Keren and Kadmiel—and embraces a simple,

down-to-earth lifestyle through gardening, fishing, and beekeeping.
